Our Approach
Enveritas Impact works to reduce poverty and promote sustainability among coffee and cocoa smallholders through innovative and data-driven interventions that are built and implemented with target communities. Through verification, our teams have been embedded in smallholder communities and have developed a deep understanding of farmers' needs and challenges. These challenges are complex and systemic; we work toward solving them by combining proven methods with the testing of new approaches, ideas, and technologies. We implement through an iterative approach suited to this complexity, prioritizing the tracking of adoption and outcomes to ensure efforts and investments lead to meaningful change.
Measuring Impact
Without measurement, there is no learning or improvement, and the magnitude of the impact achieved is unknown. We devote significant effort to rigorous, ground-level data collection to track implementation and progress and assess outcomes.
Communities We Work With
We focus on coffee and cocoa communities with the greatest potential for impact—where the needs are highest and external support has a clear value add to communities. Below are the initiatives shaping our work today. We currently operate in seven countries across Africa, Asia, and the Americas, working to improve farmer livelihoods, soil health, pest management, and forest restoration. More than 30,000 farmers were supported through Enveritas-funded work in 2025.
